Alpe D'Huez.
First trip of the year - Alpe D'Huez, Massif Des Grandes Rousses.
87 ski lifts, 117 pistes, 240 km's of surfing fun.
Went by Excel Airways from Bristol to Chambery, plane delayed because of bad weather in France - Result!
Snow is falling when we arrive at L'Ours Blanc apartments and is still falling 2 days later.
Spent the first 3 days cruising the pistes, Pic Blanc (3300M) is closed.
Found powder in the Combe Charbonniere and La Canyon from Plat des Marmottes.
Also found off-piste fun down to Oz and in the trees above Vaujany.

La Grave/La Meije.
Hired a car and went to the off-piste mecca - La Grave. Surprisingly little snow in the
Vallons de la Meije and Vallons de Chancel.

Last two days boarded at Auris En Oisans and again at Vaujany, best run of the week - Roche Melon from Vallonnet.
Pic Blanc also now open - awesome views! and at the end of the day surfed down the 18km black run with a 1500m descent - Sarenne/ Chateau Noir.
