Another fine day, although rain forecast tomorrow. The path contoured along the mountainside, with magical views back to the hut and Sommerwand. Passed a shepherd and his flock of sheep motoring along the path. Reached the first col (Sendersjochl) by lunchtime and soon viewed the Kalkogel peaks - very similar to the Dolomites. STUBAIER HOHENWEG	Day 8 Kalkkogel from Seejochl	Day 9: Starkenburger Hut (2229m) to Fulpmes (920m) via Hoher Burgstall (2611m). distance 7kms, time 4 hours "That night I was the only resident! The view from the hut was awesome, a great panorama from Habicht to Lisener Fernerkogel. Most of the rucksack route could be seen, Elfer Hut across the valley. After climbing Hoher Burgstall (2611m) ambled down through alpine meadows and pine forest, along forestry tracks to Fulpmes. Took the bus to Innsbruck, spent the afternoon wandering around the old city before booking a room at the youth hostel."	FAQS RETURN
