TOUR DE LA VANOISE Landry to Modane Distance 75 kms (47 miles) Time 5.5 days A high mountain passage via the Col de la Leisse, Pralognan and Col de Chaviere. Most of the route is above 2000 metres and within the Vanoise National Park, where camping is not allowed. A beautiful remote mountainous walk where Bouquetins, Chamois and Marmottes will be seen. During the trek I used Martin Collins walking guide and French maps. Use the menu on the right to navigate between pages. |
